A six-course meal served family-style around communal tables. Family meal is a Sunday ritual allowing everyone in the kitchen, from chefs to dishwashers to waiters, to sit together for a simple meal. Take off your clogs, roll up your knives, and join us. All are welcome.

New year, new curriculum! Food Craft Institute is launching Skill Nibble, a series of monthly speaker sessions for craft food entrepreneurs at our new home above Forage Kitchen.

Each month, we’ll welcome a different speaker to our Oakland classroom to host a lively discussion on topics that are at the forefront of entrepreneurial minds: marketing strategies, legal issues, product development, staffing practices, and more. Aimed at sharing resources and cementing community among early-stage food entrepreneurs, you won’t want to miss a single one!

al Chile Kitchen and Al Sur will be joining together to bring you some exquisite Mexican dishes, using many Californian ingredients. Barbara Chavez from Al Chile Kitchen & Karina Carrillo from Al Sur are putting together four very diverse dishes inspired from different regions of Mexico, that is Guadalajara & Mexico City... tapas style!
